Watching QAF: Episodes 1 & 2

The King House - Steve & Mark's Flat.
Using assorted, coffee cups, glasses and two actual wine
glasses,
they all had toasted a couple times or more to Steve and Mark. Grams,
Zack and Shelley joined Will, Bart and TK. They would have run out of
champagne except Grams brought two more bottles with her when she came
up. Steve had called her earlier to see if she could get champagne for
them, telling her only that it was for a really special occasion, and
asking her if she was going to be around later. Grams was a bit
hesitant, and asked Steve to explain. Steve eventually told her the
whole story.
The celebration in the kitchen is starting to break up, and Bart
who had his share of the champagne is chomping at the bit to start the
movie. Steve gets Zack to one side and asks him if he could speak to him
alone in the front room. Mark follows Virg out on to the balcony as she
readies to leave. Mark calls, "Virg could I talk to you before you go?"
"Mark, what can I do for you?" She stands by the railing looking over
the yard. Mark, "First off, how much do we owe you for the champagne?"
"Nothing dear, just think of it as my little present, it's been sitting
in the cellar since Will's party anyway." "But" "NO buts, it was my
pleasure. What else did you want?" Mark is standing next to her and
starts saying, "Virg, when I talked to Ted , he said that we would have
to make sure we had witnesses lined up for signing the documents. I
figure that comes to one witness for Steve and one for me. Virg, I was
hopin you 'd agree to be one of the witnesses." Taken aback, Virg looks
at him, "Are you sure?" Mark replies, "Yeah, I want one of them to be
you." "Thank you, dear. I' be honored." She gives him a quick peck on
the cheek and heads down the stairs.
"So the deal is this, Zack, I'd like you to be one."
"But I won't
be eighteen till next month." "That's all right, Ted says it takes weeks
to get everything set up. We'll just make sure we wait 'til after."
"Steve, Thanks, I'd be happy to." Zack gives Steve a quick hug. and
looks at him, "You're really sure about this whole thing right? ... ",
Steve nods, "... OK just let me know when. ... And congratulations,
again."
All five of them are again gathered in front of the TV. Bart who
has taken over the VCR controller, says, "Wait till you guys see this,
It is" "Bart you asshole!" Will interrupts, "Shit head, you said you
were gonna to wait so we could all watch it together. You fuck head." "
Realizing that he has said more than he should have, Bart says, "Shit, I
just wanted to make sure it played all right. But I ... sorta ended
watching the first episode. But that's all honest." TK says, "Just don't
tell us about it, ya dipshit." Bart responds, "Alright already. I won't
say another word." "Like there's a chance in hell of that happening."
Will says, "Five bucks says you don't make it thru one episode." "Deal,
as long as the tapes playing I won't say a word." Even Steve says,
"Bullshit." Bart defensively adds, "You're all assholes. I'll show
ya."
Bart starts the tape.
"Sometimes you get a good Thursday.
Sometimes you get an above average Thursday .
Sometimes you get a shit Thursday.
This Thursday was mental. ..."

Their eyes remained glued to the TV. Only an occasional,
"Shit." or
"Wow!" escaping as a comment. Then about twenty minutes into the
episode, TK says, "Did you see that? Shit, and this was on regular TV."
Bart says, "See I told ya..." "That's the easiest five bucks I ever won.
Bart you are just so fucking easy." Will says. Todd adds, "Yeah, I heard
that about him too." Bart laughs, pulling a five dollar bill out of his
wallet, "I'm not only easy, but I give change." Steve says, "Quit
talking. Bart how about rewinding it a little, I wanna hear that part
again." Bart says, "OK, ... right about here ..." Will checks out where
he's rewound to and says, "Bart! you're only interested in sex." "You
got a problem with that." "No, not really." "Will you guys Shut the
Fuck
UP!"
